Ojas-building Warm Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Ojas-building Warm Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup oats

  • ½ tsp ginger powder

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp cardamom

  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg

  • 10 almonds soaked in water overnight or boiled water 15 minutes; peel and discard skins

  • 2 pitted medjool dates (remove pits) or 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 2 tsp ashwagandha

  • 1 cup cow’s milk or alternative if you do not digest cow’s milk well

Directions:

Either heat all the ingredients in a saucepan until steaming and blend with an immersion mixer until smooth or blend all ingredients in blender and then transfer to a saucepan and heat until steaming. I also like to leave my oatmeal out and add after blending to keep that soft chunky texture that I can drink/chew. 😉

Transfer to a mug and enjoy this grounding and nourishing smoothie!
