Evening Milk Beverage

1-2 medjool dates or 2 tsp maple syrup

6-8 oz cow’s milk of your favorite plant based milk

1/2 tsp ghee

Use your favorite warming spices … think ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg

Try 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp cardamom

If using dates, blend the ingredients and then transfer to heat in a sauce pan.

Transfer to your favorite mug and sprinkle with nutmeg.

You can add 1 tsp each of ashwagandha or shatavari to this milk if you’d like or just have it without.

Really great in the evening after an earlier lighter dinner to ground and settle. The warming spices and the sweetness both settle vata energy.
