Spicy Lemonade

When you have congestion or you feel heavy and need some lightening up, make yourself some spicy lemonade to cut through the sticky cloudy qualities that are present with the heat of cayenne pepper or ginger and the cleansing qualities of lemon or lime tempered with the sweetness of maple syrup. Delicious!

Ingredients:

1 cup hot water

1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon or lime juice

1 tbsp maple syrup

cayenne pepper to taste (start slow a littel goes a long way)

ginger (fresh or powdered if cayenne seems to hot for you)
